HOW IT WORKS

Working with Cascade Home Design is a collaborative process, we strive to deliver quality designs that are efficient to build while bringing your vision to life. Here's how the process works.

DISCOVERY

All of our services start out with a combination of calls, emails or in person meetings to discuss the scope of the project and your design goals.

RESEARCH

From there we move into the research phase of the project. This includes determining the code requirements and building criteria for your project.

Factors include; site location, lot size, utilities, engineering, critical areas, etc.

DESIGN

After determining the project goals, code requirements and guidelines, we begin the preliminary architectural design.

This includes schematic floor plans and exterior design elements.

COLLABORATE

Once the preliminary design has been drafted, we will set up a meeting to discuss overall thoughts, changes and revisions to achieve the final architectural design.

ENGINEER

Once the architectural design is achieved, the plans are sent to be structurally engineered. This may include design changes to create an efficient build.

PERMIT

After the building plans have been finalized the permit submittal process starts. All applications and supporting documents are prepared and submitted.
